Brownwood Country Club is a private club that has a lot to offer:
Golf (2009 Golf Schedule Has Been Posted) The 18 hole layout offers fun to all golfers with great bentgrass greens and open fairways. One can obtain several views from different hilltop sites. Visit skycaddie.com and download Brownwood Country Club's golf course. A driving range, chipping green (with bunkers) and a large putting green allow golfers to sharpen their skills. There is also a fully stocked golf shop for any golfer to acquire equipment, apparel, and a P.G.A. golf professional. Open all year long and closed on Mondays. Guest policy--play with a member or reciprocate to another club. Dress code--proper golf attire.
Swimming There is an olympic size pool that is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Lifeguards are always on duty for parties and fun.
Dining Newly remodeled, the clubhouse offers a large ballroom for hosting weddings, receptions, meetings, and large parties. The dining room is accented with a double sided fireplace that will allow fine dining to be enjoyed at it's best. The bar area is also accented with a fireplace, a beautiful view of the club's lake, and several large televisions for viewing any and all sporting events. The menu offers a wide variety of items that will definitely satisfy any appetite. Brownwood Country Club prides itself by offering only Black Angus Steaks that are cooked to your perfection!!
Lake A 26 acre lake is located on site that is stocked with large mouth bass, crappie, and catfish that will allow anyone to enjoy landing a wall mounting fish.
